Job summary

Your Talent Team is seeking a Sr. Electrical Estimator in Houston, onsite, to support a portfolio of large-scale industrial projects, including data centers and chemical sectors.

You will develop detailed electrical and instrumentation estimates, review specs, and prepare bid packages for nationwide opportunities. Ideal candidates bring strong construction estimating background, proficiency in Excel and estimating software, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Electrical estimating experience in industrial, commercial, EPC or mission-critical construction.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs and bid docs.
• Knowledge of electrical materials, installation methods, and labor requirements.
• Experience with quantity takeoffs and cost estimating.
• Familiarity with estimating software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical and instrumentation estimates for complex projects.
• Review drawings and bid documents to determine scope.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and calculate costs for material, labor, equipment, and subs.
• Evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors for competitiveness.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams during bidding.
• Develop proposal documentation and final bid packages.
• Maintain historical cost data and support estimating improvements.
