The role focuses on estimating for industrial EPC and data center construction nationwide, with cross-functional collaboration across engineering, procurement, and construction teams. The ideal candidate brings strong electrical estimating experience, drawing interpretation skills, and cost analysis capabilities.

Qualifications

• Electrical estimating experience in industrial, commercial, EPC or mission-critical work.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specs.
• Knowledge of electrical materials, installation methods, and labor needs.
• Experience with quantity takeoffs, cost estimating, subcontractor bids.
• Excel proficiency; familiarity with estimating software like Bluebeam, McCormick, or Accubid.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Data center experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work independently and travel nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical and instrumentation estimates for complex projects.
• Review drawings, specs, and bid documents for scope and requirements.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and compute material, labor, equipment, and subs costs.
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations for accuracy and competitiveness.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams during bids.
• Analyze labor productivity and material pricing for cost accuracy.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project walkdowns.
• Develop proposal documentation and final bid packages.
• Maintain historical cost data and improve estimating accuracy.
