Job summary

Top Echelon Software LLC is seeking a Sr. Electrical Estimator to support a growing portfolio of large-scale electrical construction projects, primarily in the data center market, nationwide.

The role emphasizes accuracy and competitiveness in estimates and requires strong technical construction background. This onsite position in Houston involves reviewing drawings, performing quantity takeoffs, evaluating bids, and collaborating with engineering, procurement, and construction teams throughout

Qualifications

• Electrical estimating experience in industrial/commercial/EPC projects.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specs, and construction docs.
• Knowledge of electrical materials, installation methods, and labor requirements.
• Experience with quantity takeoffs, cost estimating, and subcontractor bid evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical and instrumentation estimates for complex construction projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope and requirements.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and calculate material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations for accuracy and competitiveness.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams throughout the bidding process.
• Analyze labor productivity, material pricing, and project-specific cost considerations.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project walkdowns.
• Develop proposal documentation and final bid packages.
• Maintain historical cost data and support improvements in estimating accuracy.
