Job summary

Jobot is seeking a highly skilled Permanent Electrical Estimator to join our team in the construction industry. This role focuses on high-voltage substations, electrical transmission and distribution, and utility-scale projects, with proficiency in Bluebeam, HeavyBid, or Accubid.

Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) and have at least 5 years of estimation experience, delivering accurate, data-driven cost assessments and collaborating with

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 5 years in electrical estimation, preferably in construction.
Proficiency with Bluebeam, HeavyBid or Accubid.
Extensive knowledge of high voltage substations and transmission/distribution.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed electrical estimates for construction projects from drawings and specs.
Analyze material, labor costs and timeframes for each project.
Use Bluebeam, HeavyBid or Accubid to create and modify estimates.
Evaluate systems and products per specifications and customer needs.
Collaborate with PMs, engineers and architects to define scope.
Review blueprints for high-voltage substations and utility projects.
