This fully onsite role with 40–45 hours/week offers nationwide project opportunities and collaboration across engineering, procurement, and construction teams. Qualifications

• Experience in electrical construction estimating for industrial, commercial, EPC, or mission-critical projects.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Knowledge of electrical materials, installation methods, and labor requirements.
• Experience with quantity takeoffs, cost estimating, and subcontractor bid evaluations.
• Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Bluebeam, McCormick, or Accubid preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, not required.
• Willingness to travel nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical and instrumentation estimates for complex construction projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope and requirements.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and calculate material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations for accuracy and competitiveness.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams throughout the bidding process.
• Analyze labor productivity, material pricing, and project-specific cost considerations.
• Develop proposal documentation and final bid packages.
• Maintain historical cost data and support improvements in estimating accuracy.
