Zaddy Solutions in Houston, TX, seeks a Sr. Electrical Estimator for industrial EPC and data center construction to lead cost modeling on large projects and collaborate with engineering, procurement and field teams.

Responsibilities include takeoffs, bid package development, supplier evaluation, and pre-bid activities; travel nationwide as needed. A strong electrical construction background and proficiency with Excel and estimating software are preferred.

Formación

• Electrical estimating experience in industrial/EPC projects.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and specs.
• Knowledge of materials, installation methods, and labor requirements.
• Experience with quantity takeoffs and subcontractor bid evaluations.
• Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Bluebeam, McCormick, Accubid preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare detailed electrical and instrumentation estimates for complex construction projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope and requirements.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and calculate material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations for accuracy and competitiveness.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams throughout the bidding process.
• Analyze labor productivity, material pricing, and project-specific cost considerations.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project walkdowns.
• Develop proposal documentation and final bid packages.
• Maintain historical cost data and support improvements in estimating accuracy.
