Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Principal Engineer, Electrical, to lead complex electrical design across capital projects and facility upgrades at our Florham Park, NJ headquarters with ~20% travel across the network. You will own development of One Line/Three Line Diagrams, control schematics, and engineering standards, act as SME across teams, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with vendors and contractors.

Minimum required is a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and 10+ years of experience; PE

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 10 years engineering experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer or the ability to obtain licensure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop/Review/Approve Electrical System Design documents including One Line/Three Line Diagrams, Control Schematics, Wiring diagrams, Arc Flash, Short Circuit & Voltage Drop Calculations, Coordination Studies.
• Develop scope of work for Electrical AE firms and coordinate with suppliers and contractors.
• Plans design tasks so both the design and construction will be achieved within budget constraints and schedule.
• May assume the duties of technical lead and subject matter expert for small to medium capital programs.
• Electrical Design scope includes System Design, Scope Development, Engineering Calculations, Specifications, and Risk Assessments for HV, MV systems.
