Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design across capital projects and facility upgrades. The role involves mentoring engineers, maintaining design standards, and providing SME support to Project Managers on construction and commissioning efforts.

Preferred location is Florham Park, NJ, with ~20% travel across the network and potential remote work options. A strong background in high, medium, and low voltage systems is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 10 years engineering experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer or the ability to obtain licensure is preferred.
• Experience with HV/MV/LV distribution systems in large utility power plants or large industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Electrical Design (Core Responsibility): Independently develop/review/approve electrical system design documents (One Line/Three Line Diagrams, Control Schematics, Wiring diagrams, Arc Flash, Short Circuit & Voltage Drop Calculations, Coordination Studies).
• Engineering Standards (Core Responsibility): Guardian of electrical design standards/specifications as SME for Reworld Electrical Team.
• Troubleshooting/Problem Solving: Provide electrical design troubleshooting support to plant operations and analyze root causes.
