Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer II at its Florham Park, NJ headquarters. You will independently develop/review electrical system designs for HV/MV/LV, substations, and power generation, lead capital projects, outages, and cross-functional teams, and mentor junior engineers.

This role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 10+ years of experience, proficiency with CAD/ETAP/SKM tools, and ~20% travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years engineering experience.
• Experience with High, Medium & Low Voltage distribution systems and electrical power generation in large facilities.
• Experience with capital projects, outages, and design and startup phases.
• Strong communication and project leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Electrical design for capital projects and facility upgrades.
• Design support for planned outages and equipment troubleshooting.
• Lead business development/expansion projects at operating facilities.
• Mentor junior engineers and act as SME for electrical design standards.
• Collaborate across functions with ~20% travel across the network.
