Job summary

Eversource Energy in the Northeast seeks a Senior Engineer to design and support substations and distribution systems, combining office and field work on diverse projects. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and lead technical analyses across protection, control, and SCADA interfaces.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering and 5–8 years of experience, with strong SCADA/EMS familiarity, DNP3, and field deployment of RTUs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5–8 years of related experience.
• Familiarity with SCADA/EMS highly desirable.
• Experience with power systems software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering guidance for complex problems and manage projects with minimal oversight.
• Develop and maintain realistic power system models for EMS Network Applications.
• Develop, configure, test and commission RTUs and field devices for SCADA integration.
• Perform SCADA network analysis and troubleshoot communications with Wireshark.
