Job summary

Axon is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to own the design, development, and validation of complex electrical systems for mission-critical, connected hardware. You will lead hardware development across RF, power, thermal, and signal integrity while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

This remote-eligible, hybrid role offers relocation assistance to hub locations (NYC/Boston/Scottsdale) and a path to scale with the hardware team as a founding member, with compensation that includes

Qualifications

• 7+ years of embedded electronics design experience with a degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Experience with PCB design and RF integration/coexistence for highly integrated devices.
• Experience with embedded subsystems including processors, memory, power delivery, wireless/RF integration.
• Proven ability to take electronics from concept through schematic and PCB design to mass production.
• Strong understanding of RF coexistence and EMI/EMC considerations.

Responsibilities

• Design mixed-signal schematics and drive PCB layout for RF and mixed-signal systems.
• Design and validate RF/radio systems across wireless technologies with attention to interference and EMC.
• Collaborate with Mechanical and Industrial Design for board layout and antenna integration.
• Bring up, characterize, and troubleshoot hardware using RF and digital test equipment.
• Drive production readiness, BOMs, documentation, and verification from concept to mass production.
• Provide technical leadership and review designs with internal teams and external partners.
