Job summary

Axon Enterprise in Scottsdale, Arizona is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to own the design, development, and validation of complex electrical systems for mission-critical, connected hardware.

As a founding member of our hardware team, you will have ownership across the full hardware lifecycle, help establish technical architecture, drive standards, and collaborate across RF, mechanical, and test teams to scale from concept through mass production.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of embedded electronics design experience with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• Experience with PCB design and layout, RF integration and coexistence, mechanical integration, and hardware bring-up/debugging for highly integrated devices.
• Experience across embedded subsystems including processors, memory, power delivery, wireless/RF, and high-speed interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Electrical & Board Design: create mixed-signal schematics and drive PCB layout across processors, RF, power, memory, and interfaces.
• RF Integration & Coexistence: design and validate RF systems across multiple wireless technologies and ensure coexistence and EMC.
• Mechanical Integration: work with mechanical/industrial design to optimize layout and antenna integration.
• Bring-Up & Debugging: bring up hardware and troubleshoot with test equipment.
• Production Readiness: drive BOMs, design docs, verification and readiness to mass production.
• Technical Leadership: guide EE team and external partners to completion.
