Job summary

Axon is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for Communication and Radio Frequency, with hybrid work options. You will own electrical design, RF integration, and hardware bring-up across mission-critical devices for public safety platforms.

As a founding member of the hardware team, you’ll help establish architecture and standards, collaborating across RF/coexistence, mechanical integration, and production readiness to scale solutions from concept to mass production.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of embedded electronics design experience.
• Experience with PCB design and RF integration for highly integrated devices.
• Experience with high-speed, battery-powered, or low-power systems.

Responsibilities

• Electrical & Board Design: Develop mixed-signal schematics and drive PCB layout across processors, RF transceivers, power, and interfaces.
• RF Integration & Coexistence: Design and validate RF/radio systems across wireless technologies and EMI considerations.
• Mechanical Integration: Collaborate to optimize board layout and antenna integration within tight constraints.
• Bring-Up & Debugging: Bring up and troubleshoot hardware using RF/test equipment.
• Production Readiness: Drive BOMs, documentation, verification, and mass production readiness.
• Technical Leadership: Guide EE team members and external partners to completion.
