Disney Cruise Line - The Walt Disney Company seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer- Projects to lead engineering support for capital and maintenance projects on our electric distribution system. You will work with operations and project managers to integrate requirements, oversee field activities, and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery with high technical standards.

This role requires 5+ years in utility distribution, HV up to 15 kV, and experience with design/installation of underground

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical distribution experience in utilities.
• HV distribution up to 15 kV knowledge and field support.
• Proficiency with diagnostic and performance monitoring tools.
• Proactive problem solving and cross-team collaboration.
• Strong organization and communication for a project-driven environment.
• ABET-accredited engineering degree required; Florida PE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage external design firms to meet requirements, schedules, and budgets.
• Support underground distribution projects and related upgrades.
• Develop scopes of work, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, GIS, and contractors.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, bid packages, and submittals.
• Conduct on-site field visits and track progress.
• Assist with risk identification, commissioning, and closeout.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
