Job summary

The Walt Disney Company in Celebration, FL is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineering leader to oversee electrical technical operations aboard Disney Cruise Line vessels and related entertainment systems. You will drive safety, reliability, and compliance across power generation, distribution, propulsion, automation, and shipboard networks.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related engineering.
Maritime certifications (ETO/ETE/Chief Electrician) may substitute for some education.
10+ years of experience in cruise industry environments with electrical engineering and vessel operations.
Experience managing large electrical systems and capital projects.

Responsibilities

Oversee operations and planning for all electrical systems on ships.
Lead maintenance for power generation, switchboards, HV/LV systems.
Manage shipboard networks and communications infrastructure.
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and classification requirements.
Coordinate with USCG and other authorities as applicable.
Support dry docks, refits, and major capital projects.
