Job summary
Rosendin Electric is seeking an Engineer III to lead engineering efforts on major electrical projects. You will supervise a team of engineers, designers, and staff, review submittals, and ensure compliance with project requirements, codes, and specifications.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, PE licensure, 5+ years of engineering experience, and proficiency with Autodesk, Microsoft Office, Illumination software, and Oracle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction sciences.
- US-based Professional Engineer licensure required.
- Typically 5+ years of engineering experience; on-site field experience encouraged.
- Experience with high-tech, health, commercial, industrial facilities preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers, designers and staff on projects.
- Review submittals and coordinate with architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical trades.
- Prepare designs including power, lighting, and auxiliary systems; single-line diagrams and protection sizing.
- Perform short circuit and coordination studies; arc flash analysis where needed.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, and contractors to meet design criteria and budget.
