Job summary

RTX’s Advanced Radar Department seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer- Production Support to partner with manufacturing, operations, and quality teams. You will evaluate hardware failures, drive root cause analysis, and coordinate repairs with suppliers.

The role requires STEM training, several years of production/engineering experience, and the ability to obtain an active DoD clearance. Occasional travel is expected as part of program support.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree and 5+ years in production support/engineering roles.
• Ability to analyze technical data and schematics for troubleshooting.
• Experience with external vendors and coordinating deliverables for project execution.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware failure evaluations and disposition of failing hardware.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Communicate status updates to program leadership on hardware failures and repairs.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Operations and Production Control for timely hardware availability.
• Serve as main technical contact for key suppliers and support quarterly reviews.
• Travel up to 25% to facilities, vendors, or customer sites.
