Job summary

Raytheon Technologies in Plano, TX is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer- Production Support to partner with manufacturing, operations, supply chain, and quality teams to resolve production issues. You will drive root-cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and coordinate supplier repairs to keep production on schedule.

The role requires 5+ years in production support or related engineering, a STEM degree, and the ability to obtain US security clearance. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in production support/related engineering roles.
• Experience with analyzing technical data and/or schematic drawings to support troubleshooting.
• Experience with external vendors and coordinating deliverables to support project execution.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance within 1 year; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical evaluations of hardware and categorize failures for disposition.
• Prioritize and execute root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Communicate status updates on hardware failures and supplier repairs to program leadership.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery/receipt of hardware for supplier rework.
• Serve as main technical contact for key suppliers and identify capability gaps.
• Support quarterly program reviews with key suppliers.
• Travel up to 25% to manufacturing facilities, vendors, or customer sites.
