Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Senior Professional, Electrical Engineering to join our Energy team in Colorado. Lead technical contributions for power generation, renewable energy, and substations from planning through commissioning.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, innovative electrical infrastructure. You will mentor junior engineers, prepare technical reports, and support due diligence, permitting, and project execution across multiple concurrent projects while

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
5 to 7 years of relevant post education experience as an electrical engineer providing design deliverables for large capital projects.
Engineer in Training Certification.
Experience with operations and project controls for reporting and proposal development.
Proficient knowledge of electrical engineering principles and design/build processes.

Responsibilities

Lead technical design on power generation, renewable energy, transmission, and distribution projects.
Support due diligence, permitting, design, development, and construction of utilities and industrial projects.
Develop electrical calculations, protection, and substation design; ensure QA/QC compliance.
Prepare plans/specifications and cost estimates with cross-disciplinary coordination.
Provide guidance and training to junior engineers.
Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
