Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5–7 years post-education experience as an electrical engineer.
• Engineer in Training Certification.
• Experience with operations and project controls for reporting and proposals.
• Proficient knowledge of electrical engineering principles and codes.
• Infrastructure planning, design, and construction management experience.
• Knowledge of regulations and compliance practices in engineering/construction.
• Ability to perform technical computations and interpret plans.
• Project management experience on small to mid-size projects.
• Ability to plan inspections and investigations for facilities design.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and analysis of substation components, layouts, and protection systems.
• Review third-party designs, procurement lists, and project plans.
• Develop one-line diagrams, bus layouts, grounding, and relaying designs.
• Prepare plans, specs, and cost estimates; update layout plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on multiple projects.
• Prepare data visualizations, reports, and technical presentations.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and ensure QA/QC compliance.
