Job summary

WSP Global Inc. seeks a Senior Technical Manager, Electrical Engineering to lead the Energy team's electrical design and project delivery. You will guide complex power, renewable, and substation projects, serving as the technical authority and mentor for engineering staff worldwide.

You will drive design excellence, ensure QA/QC, support growth initiatives, and coordinate with PMs, clients, and regulators to meet safety and performance standards across public and private sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with professional experience in power facilities.
• Licensure as an electrical engineer; multi-state preferred.
• Strong design, permitting, and compliance knowledge across utilities and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight and direction for complex electrical projects.
• Lead multi-site design reviews, ensure data integrity and code compliance.
• Mentor staff, manage budgets, and coordinate with subcontractors and clients.
• Develop plans, specifications, and cost estimates; support permitting.
• Drive future-ready tech adoption and high-quality deliverables.
