Kimley-Horn's Denver office is seeking an Electrical Engineer with 10+ years of experience to join the Power Generation team. Focus on design and delivery across fossil, hydrogen, solar, nuclear, energy storage and decarbonization projects.

Responsibilities include leading electrical design, mentoring staff, coordinating with clients and contractors, and developing P&IDs, piping, and instrumentation. Salary range is $110,000 - $165,000.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Power Generation design experience
• PE license in Electrical Engineering or relevant degree
• Experience with GT Pro or similar gas power modelling software
• Familiar with owners’ engineer and technical advisory services

Responsabilités

• Lead electrical engineering efforts for power generation projects such as natural gas and coal-fired plants
• Prepare cost estimates, work plans and schedules with independent judgment
• Mentor junior team members and coordinate with clients and contractors
• Develop P&IDs and perform lifecycle cost analyses
• Design piping, pumps, valves, tanks and instrumentation
