Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Philadelphia office seeks an Electrical Engineer with 10+ years of experience to join the Power Generation team. You will lead design and delivery for power generation and heavy industrial facilities, including fossil, hydrogen, solar, nuclear, energy storage, decarbonization, mining, and gas compression projects.

You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with clients and partners, and oversee electrical systems from concept through commissioning on multi-discipline projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of electrical engineering design experience in Power Generation.
• Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities guiding junior engineers.
• Experience communicating and coordinating with clients and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering efforts for natural gas and coal-fired power generation projects.
• Prepare cost estimates, work plans, and schedules with independent technical judgment.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and coordinate with clients.
