Job summary

JFE Engineering seeks a hands-on Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical discipline for industrial manufacturing, data centers, and mission-critical facilities. The role spans design from planning to commissioning, with potential to serve as Engineer of Record for assigned scopes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
Active PE license in at least one US jurisdiction; Texas licensure required or eligible.
Strong knowledge of NEC and NFPA standards for industrial power systems.
Experience leading coordinated design deliverables through construction.

Responsibilities

Lead medium- and low-voltage electrical design across projects.
Prepare and review diagrams, load calculations, panel schedules, and specs.
Coordinate with clients, utilities, and intra-discipline teams.
Integrate substations, switchgear, generators, UPS, BESS where applicable.
Support permitting, RFIs, submittals, field coordination, testing and commissioning.
Establish electrical design standards and QA/QC procedures.
