Job summary
PRIME AE Group, Inc. seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer I (PE level) to lead electrical system design across a diverse portfolio of building types.
You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors from concept through construction documentation to ensure quality, code-compliant outcomes. Responsibilities include mentoring junior engineers, supporting multidisciplinary teams, and delivering high-impact projects in Healthcare, Federal, Education, and Corporate sectors.
Qualifications
- ABET-accredited B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
- 8+ years in electrical system design.
- Active PE license or ability to obtain.
- Experience with power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of electrical systems from concept to final construction documentation.
- Perform analyses and calculations to support system design and performance.
- Develop innovative solutions to complex design challenges across multiple project types.
- Coordinate with architects, mechanical and structural engineers, and contractors to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Review and apply building codes and standards related to electrical design.
