PRIME AE Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer I (PE) to join our growing MEP team across our offices in Ohio, Kentucky, Virginia, Maryland, Florida, or Indiana.

You will lead electrical system design for diverse building types, collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors to meet project requirements and codes. The role offers mentorship of junior engineers, engagement on high-impact projects, and the chance to contribute from concept through construction across

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
• PE license in the state of practice.
• 8+ years of electrical systems design experience.
• Healthcare or federal project experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and electrical design practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of electrical systems from concept through construction documents.
• Perform electrical analyses and calculations to support design.
• Develop innovative solutions for multiple project types.
• Coordinate with architects, mechanical and structural engineers and contractors.
• Review applicable codes and standards for electrical design.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers within the MEP department.
• Participate in design reviews and support construction-phase services as needed.
