Job summary

PRIME AE Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer I (PE Level) to join our growing MEP team. You will lead electrical system design across diverse building types, collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, and field staff to deliver compliant, high-quality solutions.

Ideal candidates have a PE license, 8+ years of design experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit. Healthcare or federal project experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• 8+ years of electrical system design experience.
• Active PE license in the relevant state (or ability to obtain).
• Experience with power distribution, lighting, grounding, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Experience with SKM and Visual lighting software.
• Healthcare or federal project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design efforts from concept through construction documents.
• Coordinate with architects, mechanical, structural engineers and contractors.
• Provide technical leadership and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers in MEP.
• Support construction-phase services and design reviews.
