Job summary

Stratus is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer II (P.E) in Houston to lead complex design teams across the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and client requirements. The role emphasizes technical leadership, coordination with architects, contractors, and consultants, and mentorship of junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• ABET-accredited engineering degree.
• 10–15 years of design and project management experience.
• Experience with MEP and Fire Prevention systems in the commercial sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and technical development of engineering projects, providing expert guidance to project teams and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications, ensuring designs meet project requirements and regulatory standards.
• Oversee integration of building systems (civil, mechanical, electrical, structural, environmental) to ensure cohesive designs.
• Provide technical oversight during construction, review submittals, conduct site visits, resolve technical issues.
