Job summary

Stratus® is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer II (PE) to provide expert technical leadership on complex commercial projects. You will oversee design, analysis, and construction phases, guiding teams to deliver accurate, compliant engineering deliverables across multidisciplinary interfaces.

The role requires a PE license and 10–15 years of experience in engineering design and project management, with a collaborative, client-focused approach and a commitment to high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering from ABET-accredited university
• 10-15 years of experience in engineering design and project management

Responsibilities

• Lead design and technical development of engineering projects.
• Prepare detailed drawings, calculations, and specifications to meet standards.
• Oversee integration of building systems and ensure cohesive designs.
• Provide technical oversight during construction, review submittals, and address issues.
• Mentor and lead junior engineers; conduct quality control reviews.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and consultants for coordination.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to meet expectations.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to hit milestones.
• Stay current with industry advances and incorporate innovations.
