Job summary

Stratus is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer II (PE) to provide expert technical leadership on complex commercial projects. You will oversee design, analysis, and construction phases, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and client requirements.

You will mentor junior engineers, conduct QC reviews, and collaborate with architects, contractors, and consultants to ensure coordinated project delivery.

Qualifications

• PE license is required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• 10–15 years of experience in engineering design and project management.
• Experience with MEP and Fire Prevention systems in the commercial sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and technical development of engineering projects, guiding teams and ensuring standards compliance.
• Prepare detailed drawings, calculations, and specifications for project requirements and client expectations.
• Oversee integration of building systems (civil, mechanical, electrical, structural, environmental).
• Provide technical oversight during construction, review submittals, conduct site visits, resolve issues.
