Job summary

P2S is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design and pre-design efforts on major projects across healthcare, higher education, and infrastructure. The role blends in-office collaboration with remote work two days a week in a hybrid model.

The ideal candidate brings a PE license, 10+ years of experience, and strong leadership in electrical design, CAD/BIM coordination, and power systems studies. Title 24 compliance and LEED familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
10+ years of relevant experience preferred.
Demonstrated ability to lead electrical design projects.
Demonstrated project management skills.
Experience using AutoCAD and Revit required.
Working knowledge of ETAP and/or SKM for power systems studies preferred; ramp‑up supported.
PE license required.
Familiarity with Title 24, LEED, BIM coordination, and mission‑critical or backup power systems a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead pre-design and design efforts on large projects across healthcare, education, ports, and infrastructure.
Oversee power single-line and riser diagrams, calculations (arc flash, short circuit, load flow).
Direct low- and medium-voltage infrastructure design and equipment replacements.
Coordinate CAD/BIM standards and disciplines within the design team.
Ensure NEC, Title 24, CALGreen compliance in electrical designs.
Mentor junior engineers and support proposals with senior staff.
Provide construction phase support, RFIs, submittals, and punch workflows.
