Stratus is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer II (PE) to provide expert technical leadership on complex commercial projects, guiding design through construction.

You will oversee integration of building systems, develop drawings and calculations, mentor junior engineers, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes collaboration with architects, contractors, and clients, focusing on quality, schedule, and budget management.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering from ABET-accredited university
• 10–15 years of experience in engineering design and project management
• Prior experience with MEP and Fire Prevention systems in the commercial sector

Responsibilities

• Lead design and technical development of engineering projects.
• Prepare detailed drawings, calculations, and specifications.
• Oversee the integration of building systems (civil, mechanical, electrical, structural, environmental).
• Provide technical oversight during construction, review submittals, and conduct site visits.
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior engineers.
• Conduct quality control reviews at key project milestones for accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and consultants for cohesive project delivery.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to convey technical insights.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to meet milestones.
• Stay current with industry advancements and incorporate innovative solutions.
