Job summary

ENFRA invites applications for the Electrical Professional Engineer III role, leading complex electrical system design for hospital and college campuses within ENFRA’s design-build model.

You will mentor engineers, oversee design quality, and coordinate multi-disciplinary efforts across power distribution, renewables, storage, and controls integration, including permitting support and client engagement. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architectural engineering, electrical engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of design experience and PE license.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Signing and sealing engineering documents and ensuring quality standards.
• Lead and review designs for solar energy, storage, fuel cell, and CHP plants with guidance from senior engineers.
• Perform and review calculations for utility interconnects, arc flash, and short-circuit and breaker coordination studies.
• Manage electrical scope including schedule, budget, and deliverables.
• Supervise planning for field investigations and site visits; review 3D laser scanning plans.
• Resolve highly complex technical challenges; mentor junior staff and coordinate with clients, utilities, and stakeholders.
• Support existing client relationships through technical input, proposals, and client engagement.
