Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering, electrical engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of design experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical power and building systems.
• Experience with system coordination, protection, and controls integration.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary designs.

Responsibilities

• Signing and sealing engineering documents and ensuring quality standards.
• Lead and review designs for solar energy, battery energy storage, fuel cell, and CHP plants with guidance from senior engineers.
• Perform and review calculations for utility interconnects, arc flash, short‑circuit, and breaker coordination studies.
• Manage electrical scope including schedule, budget, and deliverables.
• Supervise field investigations and site visits; may review plans for 3D laser scanning.
• Provide technical oversight and review of junior staff work.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and designers; coordinate with clients, utilities, and external stakeholders.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering, electrical engineering, or related field
