Job summary

ENFRA is seeking an experienced Electrical Professional Engineer III to lead complex electrical designs for energy and infrastructure projects on hospital and campus campuses. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, ensure code-compliant and efficient power distribution, storage, and controls integration.

The role requires a PE license, 10+ years of design experience, and strong communication. You will mentor junior staff and support permitting, procurement, and client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architectural or electrical engineering or related field.
• PE license required; 10+ years of design experience.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical power and building systems.
• Experience with system coordination, protection, and controls integration.

Responsibilities

• Signing and sealing engineering documents and ensuring quality standards.
• Lead and review designs for solar, energy storage, fuel cell, and CHP plants.
• Perform interconnect, arc flash, short‑circuit calculations and protection studies.
• Manage electrical scope including schedule, budget, and deliverables.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary designs.
• Coordinate with clients, utilities, and external stakeholders.
• Support permitting, procurement, and client relationships.
• Travel 10‑20% to job sites/offices.
• Provide technical oversight and operate with broad authority.
