Essenti Talent client in Houston, TX seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer II (P.E.) to serve as the technical authority on complex commercial infrastructure and building systems. The role spans national-scale projects and emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and project excellence.

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) credential required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• 10 to 15 years of engineering design and project management experience in MEP and Fire Prevention systems for the commercial sector.
• Proven ability to lead large or complex engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, technical development, detailed drawings, calculations, and specifications for complex commercial projects.
• Oversee the integration of electrical systems with civil, mechanical, structural, and environmental disciplines.
• Perform quality control reviews at milestones, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide engineering oversight during construction including site visits and submittal reviews.
• Mentor junior staff, partner with multidisciplinary teams and clients, and manage project schedules, resources, and budgets.
