Connectly Recruiting seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer II (P.E.) in Houston, TX with relocation assistance. The role acts as a technical authority for complex commercial infrastructure, coordinating with civil, mechanical, structural, and environmental teams across the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate holds a P.E. license, an ABET-accredited degree, and 10–15 years of MEP and Fire Prevention experience, showing a proven track record in leading large projects.

Qualifications

• Active P.E. licensure is required.
• ABET-accredited bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering.
• 10–15 years of engineering design and project management in MEP and Fire Prevention for the commercial sector.
• Proven ability to lead large or complex engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, drawings, calculations and specs for complex commercial projects.
• Oversee electrical system integration with civil, mechanical, structural and environmental disciplines.
• Perform QC reviews, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide construction oversight including site visits and submittal reviews.
• Mentor junior staff, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients, and manage schedules, resources and budgets.
