The Recruiting Hive in Houston is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer II (P.E.) to serve as the technical authority on complex commercial infrastructure and building systems. This position operates on a national scale with a focus on leadership, design, and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) credential required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• 10–15 years of engineering design and project management experience in commercial MEP and fire protection systems.
• Proven ability to lead large or complex engineering projects.

Responsabilités

• Lead design, development, drawings, calculations, and specs for complex commercial projects.
• Oversee integration of electrical systems with civil, mechanical, structural, and environmental disciplines.
• Perform QC reviews, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide construction oversight including site visits and submittal reviews.
• Mentor junior staff, collaborate with teams and clients, and manage schedules, resources, and budgets.
