Job summary

SSOE is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer and Office Leader in Austin, TX to shape electrical infrastructure for semiconductor facilities and mentor teams. You will lead LV/MV power distribution, coordinate with multidisciplinary groups, and strengthen client partnerships.

This role emphasizes technical leadership, office culture, and business development, spanning project delivery, staff development, and firm representation with major semiconductor clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in good standing in the U.S.
• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience with semiconductors/high-tech facilities.
• Proven leadership of internal electrical engineering design teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for complex semiconductor and high-tech projects from concept through construction.
• Provide day-to-day oversight to project teams and ensure quality construction documents.
• Design LV/MV power distribution, switchgear, transformers, MCCs, and panelboards.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices, standards, and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for constructability and performance.
• Lead client engagements, capture planning, and external representation of the firm.
