Job summary

SSOE Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer and Office Leader in Austin, TX to shape electrical infrastructure for advanced semiconductor facilities. You will lead design, mentor teams, and build client partnerships within a collaborative design-build environment.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in semiconductor or high-tech facility design, PE licensure, and a proven track record in office leadership, staff development, and delivering complex power distribution projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Active PE license in good standing in the US.
• 10+ years electrical engineering experience focused on semiconductors/high-tech facilities.
• Proven leadership in managing internal design teams.
• Experience with office leadership, staff development, and project delivery.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for complex, large-scale semiconductor projects within an integrated design-build framework.
• Provide day-to-day oversight to project teams and ensure high-quality construction documents.
• Design LV/MV power systems and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Perform power system studies and oversee code compliance and safety analyses.
• Mentor engineers, foster knowledge sharing, and maintain standards and templates.
• Represent the office externally and support business development and client relationships.
