Job summary

SSOE Group's Advanced Technology division seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for large-scale semiconductor and advanced technology facilities, focusing on cleanrooms, fab support spaces, and critical infrastructure. You will develop power distribution strategies and oversee MV/LV system design from concept through construction.

Qualifications

ABET-accredited EE degree required.
PE license with stamping authority.
Experience in semiconductors and cleanrooms.
Lead low/medium voltage design for industrial facilities.
Familiar with project delivery phases and codes.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical engineering design for semiconductor and tech projects from planning to construction.
Develop and review load calculations, distribution strategies for reliable environments.
Design low/medium voltage systems including MV switchgear, transformers, panels.
Perform studies for selectivity, arc flash mitigation, reliability.
Coordinate with architects, process/mechanical/structural teams for integration.
Lead client discussions, evaluate equipment, support procurement planning.
Prepare, review, and seal engineering documents and drawings with accuracy.
Participate in design reviews, QA/QC, and interdisciplinary milestones.
Support field activities, RFIs, site walks, and turnover.
Mentor junior engineers and provide design guidance.
