You will drive performance, cost, quality, and energy efficiency across electrical systems and motor technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required in electrical, mechanical engineering or engineering technology.
• Minimum 5+ years of engineering experience in product design or development.
• Experience in motor design, selection and validation for consumer products.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical system development and validation for disposer motors.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing for issue resolution.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams on specifications and validation plans.
• Conduct performance, reliability and durability testing and analyze data.
• Manage DFMEA and test plan creation for electrical systems and motors.
• Define motor sizing, torque and speed for configurations.
• Drive motor technology selection and standardization across platforms.
• Benchmark competitors and identify cost/quality improvements.
• Resolve field and quality issues and implement corrective actions.
