Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, is seeking a Senior Motors Engineer to lead global motor development for laundry products. You will collaborate with engineering, suppliers, and manufacturing to drive advanced drive system components from concept to production.

The role requires strong project management, Six Sigma discipline, and a track record of delivering complex motor-driven solutions in a matrix environment. Onsite in Mount Pleasant with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Aeronautics or Automobile Engineering.
• 5+ years in product development with multiple parallel projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop Motors for Whirlpool appliances focusing on Laundry.
• Lead technical developments with internal and external teams.
• Define validation plans and assess technical maturity.
• Drive NPD / Cost & Quality projects for Laundry Powertrain.
• Coordinate with design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
• Lead multiple projects to implementation using PM tools.
