Whirlpool Corporation in Wisconsin is seeking a Product Development Senior Engineer for our Motors team. You will lead global motor development efforts across platforms, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver on time and to specifications for laundry products.

The role requires hands-on experience with mechanical/ electrical systems, strong project management, and proven ability to drive decisions using data and Six Sigma methodologies.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Aeronautics or Automobile Engineering.
• 5+ years in product development with project management experience.
• Master’s degree is a plus; Six Sigma/OPEX Black Belt preferred.
• Experience with motors or rotative mechanical/electromechanical components is desirable.
• Strong cross-functional communication and APQP knowledge preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop Motors with Whirlpool appliances focusing on Laundry.
• Lead technical developments of motors with internal and external stakeholders.
• Define validation plans and assess technical maturity at component level.
• Drive New Product Development / Cost & Quality projects for Laundry Powertrain.
• Coordinate with design, manufacturing, and supplier teams; lead risk assessments and V&V activities.
