Job summary

Apex Engineering Group in Bismarck, ND is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to drive electrical design from planning through construction. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, supervise engineers and designers, and serve as the project engineer in the field when required.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of electrical engineering experience, PE registration (ND/MN preferred or able to obtain within 6 months), and a strong track record on commercial, healthcare, or educational projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Masters in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer Registration (ND or MN preferred) or ability to obtain within 6 months is required.
• 5–10 years of experience as an electrical project engineer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional electrical engineering services including planning, design, specifications, plans, reports, construction observation, and project management.
• Delegate and supervise tasks to CAD/BIM Technicians, Graduate Engineers, and Field Technicians.
• Communicate updates during all project phases and attend client and project meetings.
• Travel and out-of-town stays may be required.
• Other duties as assigned.
