Apex Engineering Group is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer in Fargo, ND to lead electrical design from planning through construction. You will supervise engineers and designers, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and mentor junior staff while ensuring compliance with codes and standards.

The role requires 5–10 years of electrical project engineering experience, a PE registration (ND/MN preferred or obtainable within 6 months), and strong communication skills. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Masters in Electrical Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer Registration (ND or MN preferred) or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 5–10 years of experience as an electrical project engineer preferred.
• Experience with electrical systems in commercial, health care and educational facilities.
• Strong knowledge of codes, standards and excellent written/verbal communication.

Responsabilités

• Provide professional electrical engineering services including planning, design, specifications and reports.
• Delegate and supervise project tasks to CAD/BIM Technicians and engineers.
• Communicate updates and progress during all project phases.
• Attend company, project and client meetings regularly.
• Represent the project in the field during construction when required.
• Ensure adherence to CADD/BIM procedures and safety policies.
• Lead multi-disciplinary design projects and mentor junior staff.
