Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. is seeking an Engineer III to provide senior engineering leadership, mentor junior staff, and ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

The role involves coordinating electrical design across trades, reviewing submittals, and mentoring engineers on multidisciplinary projects. The position emphasizes field surveys, design coordination, and integration with project managers to meet budget and schedules on major electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architectural engineering, or construction sciences.
• Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of Engineering Experience.
• One-year on-site field experience strongly encouraged.
• Licensure as a US-based Professional Engineer is required.
• Can be a combination of education, training, and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of engineers, designers, and staff on a project basis or individual initiative.
• May be the Engineer of Record for projects as assigned.
• Supervise, review, comment, and process equipment and system submittals.
• Oversee the preparation of power system single-line diagrams and related sizing.
• Visit job sites to field survey existing electrical conditions.
• Research and resolve drawing interpretation problems and clashes.
