Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. is seeking an Engineer III to lead a team of engineers and designers on high-profile electrical projects.

You will mentor staff, review submittals, and coordinate across architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical trades. Expect rigorous design work, collaboration with clients and the Rosendin Project Manager, and hands-on field involvement to ensure code compliance and project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architectural engineering, or construction sciences.
• US-based Professional Engineer licensure required.
• Typically requires 5+ years of engineering experience.
• On-site field experience encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineers, designers, and staff on a project basis or individually.
• Prepare designs for power, lighting, and auxiliary systems.
• Develop single-line diagrams, feeder sizing, and equipment elevations.
• Conduct short circuit and coordination studies; Arc Flash studies.
• Perform distribution analysis including voltage drop and other electrical calculations.
• Coordinate with city/state officials and project team; interface with client and contractor.
• Support commissioning and project handover with clear documentation.
