Job summary

P2S|CMTA is seeking an Electrical Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join a collaborative, award-winning team. This role supports pre-design through design, design, and construction administration for electrical systems across multiple markets in a hybrid model.

Responsibilities include leading electrical design projects, mentoring junior engineers, and coordinating with cross-disciplinary teams while ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to NEC codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer License required.
• 5-10 years’ experience with electrical design projects.
• Experience leading electrical design and coordinating with teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform field surveys and site assessments for electrical designs.
• Design power single line and riser diagrams.
• Conduct electrical calculations (arc flash, coordination, short circuit, voltage drop, load flow) using ETAP/SKM.
• Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, telecom, civil, structural, and architectural teams.
• Lead projects, mentor junior engineers, and support proposals.
