Job summary

Above Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design and delivery of electrical projects. You will mentor staff, interface with clients, ensure QA/QC, and contribute to growth while maintaining regulatory standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in electrical engineering, ABET accreditation, 10+ years in engineering/project management in MEP/AE firms, and a hybrid work arrangement. LEED/ PMP/ NCEES credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; PE license preferred.
• 10 years of engineering and project management experience in MEP or AE firms; healthcare exp. is a plus.
• LEED BD+C Certification, preferred.
• PMP license, preferred.
• NCEES registration in good standing.
• Experience interfacing with clients and coordinating across disciplines.
• Hybrid work arrangement; US-based candidates only.

Responsibilities

• Ensure technical quality of project designs and on-time delivery with QA/QC processes.
• Delegate tasks across projects and coordinate staffing using planning tools.
• Lead client engagement and support business development activities.
• Review submittals for contract compliance and conduct site investigations.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure proper documentation and design conformity.
• Maintain standards and processes and ensure compliance with codes and local regulations.
